Less than an hour in, it looks like the Traditionalists are running fairly significantly ahead of the Klingons, with the Bajorans bringing up the rear so far - are you planning to focus on one particular faction? If so, why them?

First faction on the left is almost always the winner of the event because it means less scrolling. If DB would change the factions to be positioned by how many transmissions you had, we might get a different outcome.

I’m in the same boat. I need House Crests for Klingon Quark and a few others.

I will probably end up using all the transmissions for all 3 but I started with Klingons. Racked up some nice drops of 3* alcohol, which Jake will need. For some reason all the DS9 crew needs tons of alcohol.
I will move on to Ferengi for that sweet sweet gold-pressed latium. If this Uhura is like the others she will need it too.

It makes no sense that, if an item drops from shuttles, it doesn’t drop all rarities. I can see excluding 5* and maybe 4*, but excluding rarities below that, especially 0*, is nonsensical.

From a “story” standpoint this has bugged me since I started noticing it. But there are so many other issues needing attention that I simply accept & move on.
Right now, the crew I’m trying to vault don’t need any items from these factions. So I just do whoever I have the most transmissions for. Once I get down to the point where the transmission counts are the same, I go through evenly.
I just do whatever transmissions I have. The outcome doesn’t really matter since it’s just a fill in the blank mad lib ending they’ll send out months later.
